Dinner
The CLC Players
(aka the Luther League) commanded the great hall as they
presented Brenda and Eddie's Bodacious Baby Shower. While
the guests dined, the story of Brenda's kidnapped baby
unfolded and in the end, the culprit was apprehended.

Shrove
Tuesday
A pancake and
sausage supper was enjoyed by the CLC family to celebrate
Fat Tuesday (aka Shrove Tuesday) on February 24. The evening

where they told the true story of Christmas.

Adopt-A-Tree
This Christmas,
CLC adopted 5 families from the Ecumenical Lay Council
of East Northport; 1 family from Habitat and 5 families
from the community. We gathered over 160 gifts and expect
at least $1000 in matching funds from Thrivent which will
be split between Ecumenical and Habitat.

Fair and Wreath & Tree Sale
On December
6th, CLC's annual Snowflake Fair kicked off the season
with a very successful craft fair while the Luther League
chilled outdoors selling trees and wreaths.

Sunday School Rally / Picnic
 A
great time was had by all at the 2008 Annual CLC Picnic.
From getting Pastor Jim and Vicar James drenched in the
dunking tank, to the lawn games organized by the very
talented Gail Yamada, everyone got good and hungry for
the delicious barbeque that awaited.

Fundraiser
 A
team of highly trained (yeah, right!) food service workers
took over a concession stand at a L.I. Ducks game on August
12. In total we raised about $600 - all while putting
the FUN in fundraiser!
